Fort Worth JBQ 2011-2012!

Our new season is underway and I am excited to see what God can do as we quiz. In reading over our materials, I was reminded again of the purpose of JBQ. JBQ was originally created to help kids develop a love for the Bible, and to discover it really DOES work to let the Bible guide you on a daily basis.

Leaders – Thank you for your sacrifice of time, energy and resources to place the Word in the hearts of these kids. Whether your team wins or loses, you are still investing in something eternal.

Kids – Thank you for working hard to earn your seals, become better quizzers and eventually, winning matches. Whether you win or lose, though, you will always have the Word of God in your heart and mind when you need it.

This is just one of 576 questions from the Bible Fact Pak used to teach children to know and love God’s Word.

Bible history, prophecy, poetry, doctrine, facts, guidance, Old and New Testament scripture memorization are all part of this exciting program.

By using a fun, fast-paced quiz competition format, we are able to keep kids and parents motivated and committed to complete and remember a tremendous base of Bible learning.

This area JBQ league regularly advances teams to the National championship tournament, and, most importantly, kids to successful lives in their churches and communities.

Why We Quiz

The Oaks Fellowship is one of the churches in the Fort Worth area that use Junior Bible Quiz to reach out to young people. Check out this great video that was featured on CBN television!

Still not convinced? Junior Bible Quiz is not just a game - it's a tool to systematically teach the truths of the Bible to children of elementary-school age. Although it's fun to earn trophies or medals, what really matters is the eternal reward these children will receive if they follow Jesus throughout their lives. JBQ is one way to help them do that. JBQ Officials

PLEASE NOTE: Beginning in 2010, all North Texas District officials must complete an online certification process.

Officials set the tone and keep the order of each quiz match. Well-trained and godly officials can help make a difficult situation much easier. To make sure your officials are well-trained, give each official a copy of the (free!) Official JBQ Guidelines. Then, have each official take the online officials' test* to make sure they can apply the guidelines correctly. Let's set a goal to have the most awesome officials in the country!

*NOTE: You will need to contact Lena Stumper for the password for the test - OR YOUR SCORES WILL NOT BE SAVED.

Circle of the Sword

If your officials are learning the questions along with the children, then have them take the JBQ Seals tests and register them for the North Texas District's awesome "Circle of the Sword," honoring the best officials around!
